Stable Core Pilates offers private and semi-private Pilates sessions, small group equipment classes, and Pilates-based Physical Therapy. We are dedicated to providing high quality, individualized instruction on the Pilates equipment in a friendly, intimate, studio environment. We give personal attention to each client, recognizing that each individual has different needs.

Our clients range from someone with an injured back who wants to increase core strength to rehabilitate, to someone who is training for a marathon and wants to improve coordination and athletic efficiency. We welcome fitness, rehab, pre- and post-natal clients.

What is Pilates, you ask?

Pilates is a program of exercises, developed by Joseph Pilates, which are taught on specialized, spring-loaded equipment and focus on mindful, efficient movement. Pilates exercises teach awareness of breath, body alignment, and the ability to initiate movement from the core muscles. The exercises are low-impact and emphasize improved segmental spinal mobility, allowing athletes to improve their performance and allowing those with injuries to learn to move with greater ease and improved neuromuscular patterns.
